Parish Picnic 8-30-09 - 10/11/09

Our parish, along with members of St. Nicholas enjoyed a wonderful picnic on Sunday, August 30th of this year.  We hope that eveyone was happy with the food that was prepared by Walter Babeyko and we thank him for doing this.  We also thank the Maplewood fire department for allowing us to use their property.  We hope this has started a tradition for both parishes to come together at a planned date each summer for years to come. 

Sisterhood Brunch Cruise - 10/03/09

The Sisterhood held their first Brunch Cruise immediately following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, September 20th.  Everyone on board had a great time and we hope this will be the start of a new tradition for St. Basils.  Thanks to Patricia Michalski, our President, for organizing this fun afternoon.

A 50th Anniversary Celebration for Fr. Alvian and Matushka Helen was held on September 21, 2008.  We are very proud and happy to have them as part of our Church family and wish them many more years of happiness.
